I met this wonder girl Nisha in Bolpur, West Bengal . Nisha Ray, age 25, is an experienced 'Taekwondoin' and she trains this Korean martial art to little children in her village in Bolpur. Her story is all about resilience, strength and the obstacles she faced within her own family. The monstrous discrimination she had to face for being a girl child made her life turned into a fight for survival. She was 12 when she began her Taekwondo journey but her dreams were never supported by her family since childhood, hence she chose to move out and become a lone warrior. She has a long list of accomplishments, She owns 13 Gold medals and 2 Silver. She obtained her BLACK BELT (1st DAN) in 2018 , now she works as a trainer in several clubs and schools.
