About Me
 
 I am a visual artist based out of Kolkata. I have 10 years’ worth experience of working as a documentary photographer, in the field all over India. My work has been published in various national and international magazines and newspapers like Tehelka magazine, The Wire, The Hindu, BBC, Aljazeera, The CARAVAN and more. I have a natural affinity towards women's issues, gender identity crisis, Intersectional gender equality, environmental concerns, and anything under the sociopolitical spectrum. I have an eclectic experience in different formats and platforms of creating narratives . From being a staff photojournalist for a national magazine to work with esteemed national and international agencies, magazines and newspapers , digital platforms , I have explored various facets of the medium. A member of Diversify Photo , an international agency of BIPOC and non-western photographers, editors, and visual producers looking to #changetheculture in photography.
